DESCRIPTION:¡Levantar!’s Annual Backpack Drive is a back-to-school celebration for the families of North Fair Oaks. Every August\, our volunteers come together to assemble hundreds of fully-stocked backpacks for local elementary and middle school students\, which we hand out at a community fiesta complete with food\, family activities\, music\, and a fire truck visit from our local fire department. It’s one of our most meaningful community events of the year — a chance to send our kids back to school feeling supported\, celebrated\, and ready to learn. \nVolunteer here \nLa Colecta Anual de Mochilas de ¡Levantar! es una celebración de regreso a clases para las familias de North Fair Oaks. Cada agosto\, nuestros voluntarios se reúnen para armar cientos de mochilas completamente equipadas para estudiantes de primaria y secundaria\, las cuales entregamos en una fiesta comunitaria con comida\, actividades familiares\, música y la visita de un camión de bomberos de nuestro departamento local.
